RARE! 1890 $10 FR-366 "Sheridan" Treasury Note PCGS AU55 Here is a High-Grade RARE 1890 $10 FR-366 "Sheridan" Treasury Note certified about uncirculated AU55 by PCGS. This note has excellent color & eye appeal for the assigned grade. This note features the portrait of Civil War General Phillip Sheridan on the front & an Ornate "TEN" on the back.PCGS has graded a total of 14 examples of this FR#. This is the only AU55 graded with 3 higher 1 Each CU62, CU63 & CU64. 1890 Large Brown Seal with Ornate Back Treasury Notes are Rare in all grades & are seldom offered on Ebay. 1890 Treasury notes were created as a result of the Sherman act & are a true one year issue. They were replaced by their much more common 1891 counterparts the following year. Treasury notes are also refered to as "Coin Notes" because they were redeemable in Gold or Silver coin at the Treasury's discression. Check out my other items !
