This silver piece exhibits all the superior characteristics a collector could hope for. The obverse and the reverse are finely struck with great detail in both liberty's gorgeous hair and the american eagles handsome feathers. The fields are smooth with a prominent cartwheel shine and frame the bold devices quite beautifully. Furthermore, despite the age of this half dollar, it has retained the rich luster that makes it so pleasing to the eye.  In 1825, a very low mintage of just over 2.9 million silver half dollars were produced in Philadelphia. Given this mintage (and the passage of almost two centuries), scarce few specimens remain. The coin you are looking at here is one of only 26 specimens that have survived to grade as high as MS65 with only 8 graded higher with a reputable grading companiy such as NGC. Numismedia.com currently lists a value of $13,560 for the 1825 Silver half dollar graded MS65. Today, however, I've set a LOW Buy-it-Now amount, so be sure to take advantage of this exciting opportunity and place your high bid now -- or use the Buy-It-Now option to immediately secure ownership of this elusive historical coin.
